Written in conversational style, each section of the book opens with an introduction to a casting director. Following each casting director heading is a list of questions appearing in bold print. Each question leads to a detailed answer - also written in conversational style. The informal style makes it easy to read and follow - and makes a reader feel that the director is sitting in a chair in front of them - telling them how they "really feel."
